With a heavy heart, I smile thinking about the many
wonderful years you spent together and together you both thought
us the meaning of true love and commitment.

I often caught you looking at each other and at that moment
you could see the love in both your eyes, it was like you were looking at
each other for the first time just like love struck teenagers.

Today is your 40th Wedding Anniversary a day you both
looked so forward to, we were all looking forward to this day when you
were to renew your wedding vowels.

To my Dad, I hope you caught the balloon with my special message attached
and to my Mum, I know there is nothing we can say to ease your heartache,
 I only pray you found some comfort knowing we cared and remembered. 

To my Mum and Dad, I have fifty plus years of precious memories of one
of the greatest loves I have ever witnessed.
